Mast Access from cocpit
It is essential to be able to adjust sails easily at any time for any given situations. Just a few quick steps away from the mast hatch (zipped or opened) are halyards and reefing lines powered by two dedicated mast winches.
There are two manual winches for adjusting the mainsail track, mainsheet and headsails, positioned close to hand for a second crew person.

Much of the deck layout has inspired by the inventive solutions developed by singlehanded racing sailor, from whom quick access to all necessary sail-handling hardware is vital.

Instruments are mounted directly in front of the steering position. There is an option to upgrade 9’’to 12’’B&G plotter.

Tiller
Tiller or wheel?
It’s not always a straightforward answer. However, for the IC36 we a have chosen a tiller to give you a better view from the outboard, with a simple and reliable rudder configuration that allows the Helmsman excellent feel and good feedback.
For quick and accurate steering, this tiller configuration is the best there is.
